Matthew H. Winn, Associate Attorney

Matt is an Associate Attorney at Marsden Law, where he advises clients on estate planning, elder law, and probate administration. A graduate of Suffolk University Law School, Matt helps individuals and families implement clear, effective plans that protect assets and provide peace of mind, addressing long-term care planning, special needs planning, Medicaid applications, and related strategies tailored to each client’s circumstances.

Matt works closely with clients to design estate plans that reflect their goals, values, and family dynamics. He takes a proactive, solutions-oriented approach, anticipating issues before they arise, reducing the risk of future disputes, and ensuring clients’ wishes are carried out with clarity and efficiency.

In addition to planning, Matt assists personal representatives, trustees, and beneficiaries in administering both straightforward and complex estates. He is known for his calm, responsive style and for translating complicated legal and financial considerations into practical next steps.

Before entering private practice, Matt spent more than 20 years as a small business owner, with extensive experience raising startup capital and working in retail finance. That background gives him added perspective when advising clients whose planning or administration involves closely held businesses or multi-generational family assets.
